Walker, Ethel (born 1941)

Born in Ayrshire, Scotland in 1941, Ethel Walker studied at the Glasgow School of Art from 1959–61.  Over the years, she has exhibited regularly, not only holding numerous solo shows, but also featuring in many group exhibitions in some of the finest commercial art galleries in the UK.  Her early exhibitions were mainly held in Scotland and this enabled her to develop a strong following of collectors and enthusiasts, her floral and still life studies proving especially popular.  Today, her work can be found in many important private and corporate collections throughout the world.
