Carter, Barry

Nottingham born, Barry Carter moved to East Yorkshire where he studied portraiture and figure painting at York Art School.

He now lives near Hull and works as a full time painter, mainly producing landscapes.

Subjects are inspired by coastal locations, particularly Bridlington, Flamborough and Staithes, along with the inland waterways and boatyards of North Lincolnshire.
